If you have bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field along with five plus years of Accounting/Finance experience, we want to speak with you! We are currently seeking an Associate Manager Audit to join our Corporate Audit Department in Richmond, VA and are open to a remote work arrangement.

 

The role will assess dynamic risks, evaluate the internal control environment, prepare quarterly fraud reporting, build business partner relationships and support the learning and development strategy for the department.

 

What you will be doing:

  • Planning and executing risk-based audits for all business operations in accordance with The Institute of Internal Auditors’ (IIA) Global Internal Audit Standards.
  • Building successful relationships with client management to provide valuable consultation, strengthen operational efficiencies, enhance risk management, and identify cost-saving opportunities.
  • Conducting ongoing risk assessments for designated business client areas to keep abreast of the highest risks and new or emerging risks.
  • Performing fraud analysis and preparing quarterly fraud reports.
  • Monitoring and tracking timely remediation of management action plans resulting from audit findings.
  • Staying current on developments in designated business client areas, including financial, operational and compliance matters.

 

We want you to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field required; Master’s degree (MBA, MAFM) preferred.
  • 5+ years of professional experience in Accounting/Finance; 3+ years in Audit or Risk Management preferred.
  • Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), Certified Public Accountant (CPA), or equivalent professional certification highly preferred.
  • Demonstrated expertise in internal audit methodologies and IIA Standards, with confirmed ability to lead complex audits.
  • Advanced analytical skills for risk assessment, fraud detection, and data-driven decision-making.
  • Strong client relationship management and influencing skills, with experience communicating audit findings to senior management.
  • Excellent project management skills; able to prioritize and manage multiple concurrent audits with high accuracy.
  • Dedication to continuous learning and process improvement, staying current with industry trends and audit technologies.
  • Less than 25% overnight travel required.

 

 

 

The starting salary is based on but not limited to experience, knowledge, and qualifications in determining compensation decisions. The Salary Range for this position is: $101,800.00 - $147,700.00.
