You will be responsible for providing technical support in automation and electrical systems, resolving electrical and automation problems, implementing process controls, and troubleshooting in compliance with safety, quality, and environmental regulations. Acts as a senior technical resource, mentoring team members and driving continuous improvement in electrical and automation controls.                                        

 

What you will be doing:

  • Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental regulations.                            
  • Review and maintain electrical and automation documents, preventive maintenance, and SOPs.
  • Develop and support corrective actions for electrical and automation issues.
  • Lead and coordinate multi-functional teams for project execution and timely implementation.
  • Apply technical knowledge to optimize electrical, automated processing, and IT systems.     
  • Investigate and resolve electrical and process automation anomalies.
  • Participate in internal audits and deliver targeted training programs.
  • Lead troubleshooting activities and implement change control.                             
  • Collaborate with Operations, Quality, and Technical teams to resolve complex problems.      
  • Provide 24/7 technical assistance and flexibility for shift assignments.                               
  • Maintain technical documentation and equipment according to the manufacturer’s instructions. 
  • Mentor and develop employees in controls, automation, and maintenance management.
  • Other duties as assigned

 

What we want you to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Science, or Information Technology
  • OR minimum 4 years as a process engineer supporting highly automated processes and 3 years as an electrical and automation control engineer.
  • 3+ years of relevant work experience.
  • Experience with Allen-Bradley ControlLogix/CompactLogix PLC, Siemens S7, Rockwell FactoryTalk View SE, RSNetworx, Power Flex VFD, Armor Flex, Armor Starter, Aveva Historian, Microsoft SQL, Microsoft Windows, Batch processing and S88 standard.
  • Strong project management, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

 

 

 

The starting salary is based on but not limited to experience, knowledge, and qualifications in determining compensation decisions. The Salary Range for this position is: $91,500.00 - $128,850.00.
