We are currently seeking a Manager, H2R Operations, to join our Hire to Retire organization in Richmond, VA, or we are open remote work arrangements. Must be willing to travel, approximately 25%.

 

The Manager, H2R Operations, plays a critical leadership role in shaping how employee transactions are handled across the employee lifecycle in a modernized global business services model. You will own the end-to-end design, standardization, and continuous improvement of Hire to Retire (H2R) Operations processes—ensuring they are scalable, compliant, and positioned for automation and AI enablement—while serving as a key decision-maker on complex escalations and risk-based judgments.

 

What you will be doing:

  • Own and govern end-to-end H2R Operations processes across the employee lifecycle, including employee movement, data updates, and separation/offboarding.
  • Lead standardization and continuous improvement of H2R processes to support scalability, automation, and AI enablement across the enterprise.
  • Serve as the secondary escalation point for complex, high-risk operational issues, balancing employee experience, compliance, and efficiency.
  • Oversee managed service provider performance through SLA monitoring, quality metrics, and root-cause resolution of systemic defects.
  • Partner with technology teams to advance SuccessFactors Employee Central and ServiceNow HRSD enhancements aligned to process outcomes.
  • Act as control owner for key SOX controls, ensuring data accuracy, audit readiness, and effective governance across H2R Operations.
  • Lead and develop team members, fostering a culture of operational excellence, ownership, and thoughtful risk management.

We want you to have:

  • Bachelor's degree required, Business, Human Resources, Information Systems, or a related field preferred.
  • 5+ years’ experience in HR Operations process optimization and standardization at enterprise scale.
  • Hands-on experience with SuccessFactors Employee Central and ServiceNow HR Service Delivery preferred.
  • Experience partnering with managed service providers on operational delivery preferred.
  • Strong analytical and process-design skills, translating complexity into clear, actionable decisions.
  • Sound judgment and comfort making risk-based decisions in ambiguous, high-stakes situations.
  • Prior people leadership experience with strong stakeholder-influencing skills across HR, technology, and vendors preferred.

The starting salary is based on but not limited to experience, knowledge, and qualifications in determining compensation decisions. The Salary Range for this position is: $119,600.00 - $173,450.00.
