We’re looking for an Associate Manager, Business Planning to join our Richmond, VA team at the Manufacturing Center. In this role, you will lead initiatives of diverse scopes and complexity to build capabilities, identify and develop necessary skills to achieve business objectives, and grow the organization, all through the power of leveraging Integrated Work Systems (IWS).
What you will be doing:
- Budget Preparation: Coordinate budget process across various Maintenance departments. Enter variable labor budget into Hyperion. Build labor models in support of the budget creation.
- Reporting and Analytics: Provide weekly and monthly reporting, reconciliation and analysis to various departments within Maintenance and other parts of the organization. Leverage Power Bi and AI to provide manning and budgetary insights into the operations. Model new hire and attrition projections in support of staffing decisions.
- Project Charge Verification: Support effort to ensure that projects have been charged correctly before payroll runs each week.
- Journal Entry Preparation: Support business efforts in collecting data for needed journal entries.
What we want you to have:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred in Business (Finance/Accounting). Preferred 3-5 years related experience, specifically in a manufacturing environment.
- Demonstrated proficiency in oral and written presentation skills, as well as proven interpersonal and communication skills. Advanced proficiency of Microsoft office systems.
- Experience working with a wide variety of stakeholders, ranging from hourly Manufacturing Technicians to execute leadership.
- Demonstrated attention to detail, and ability to apply complex and interrelated procedures consistently and accurately.
- Ability to work independently with minimal guidance. Possess a demonstrated ability to balance multiple priorities in a changing environment.
- Strong preference for experience with / understanding of Integrated Work Systems / Lean Principles within manufacturing.
The starting salary is based on but not limited to experience, knowledge, and qualifications in determining compensation decisions. The Salary Range for this position is: $104,900.00 - $147,700.00.
