Your job duties/responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
- Layout, assemble, install, troubleshoot
- Maintain pipe systems, pipe support, and related hydraulic and pneumatic equipment for high- and low-pressure steam, hot water, HVAC, lubricating, sprinkling, and industrial production systems
- Strong safety orientation
- Excellent problem-solving abilities
- High degree of initiative and conscientiousness
- Ability to work with maintenance teams and vendors to isolate systems for installations, inspections, and repairs
- Ability to ensure assigned work areas are maintained to meet high safety and housekeeping standards
Required Qualifications are:
- At least 18 years of age
- Legally eligible to work in the United States and Philip Morris USA
- Available to work any shift, and must be willing to work overtime, weekends and holidays
- Regular, reliable, and predictable attendance
- Possess current pipefitter journeyman credentials preferred
- Having a minimum of five (5) years of relevant pipefitting experience in manufacturing and/or shipbuilding facilities
Compensation:
The starting wage for this position is $44.00 per hour with the opportunity to earn over $51.76 an hour after 120 days. Additional compensation may be available through our manufacturing incentive program.
