We’re looking for an exceptional Senior Manager, HR Business Partner, to join us in Richmond, VA.

 

The Senior Manager, HR Business Partner is a trusted advisor and key collaborator, responsible for supporting and implementing talent and culture initiatives that enhance organizational effectiveness, leadership growth, and positive employee experience. This role works closely with business leaders and HR teams to deliver practical HR solutions, promote a culture of inclusion and performance, and support ongoing business improvements.

 

What you’ll be doing:

  • Provide HR partnership, coaching, and guidance to business leaders on talent and culture initiatives.
  • Support leaders in organizational design, talent management, and succession planning activities.
  • Collaborate with Recruiting, Compensation, Talent Management, L&D, and Compliance to ensure HR programs align with business needs.
  • Coach leaders to develop team capabilities, strengthen leadership skills, and improve employee engagement.
  • Use internal and external data to identify trends and recommend actions that support culture, performance, and organizational health.
  • Help coordinate and implement HR projects and execution plans.
  • Support change management efforts that drive business and cultural alignment.
  • Ensure adherence to HR policies, labor laws, and ethical standards.

Want you to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; advanced education and HR certifications (PHR/SPHR, SHRM-CP/SCP) preferred.
  • 7+ years of progressive HR experience, ideally supporting a variety of business functions.
  • Experience in HR partnership, organizational development, and supporting change initiatives.
  • Working knowledge of HR disciplines (leadership and org development, compensation, benefits, employee/labor relations, compliance, workforce planning, recruiting, HR technology).
  • Strong communication skills (listening, advocacy, written, verbal, and presentation) with diverse audiences.
  • Ability to remain adaptable and positive during periods of change.
  • Solid critical thinking, problem-solving, and analytical skills; able to provide clear recommendations.
  • Effective relationship-building and collaboration skills; demonstrates trust, candor, and integrity.
  • Experience and proven success in fast-paced, matrixed environments with frequent cross-functional collaboration and direct engagement influencing senior leadership.
  • Experience working with a global company, including direct engagement on systems, processes, talent and culture topics with leaders responsible for teams and suppliers outside the domestic US.

 

 

 

 

The starting salary is based on but not limited to experience, knowledge, and qualifications in determining compensation decisions. The Salary Range for this position is: $132,500.00 - $196,200.00.
