We are currently looking for a Sr. Strategic Sourcing Analyst to join our Source to Pay team in Richmond, VA.

The role involves conducting market research, analyzing data, supporting RFx processes, and contributing to the development and execution of sourcing strategies. You will work closely with the Strategic Sourcing Sr. Manager to ensure projects are aligned with Altria’s annual operating and category plans, focusing on total cost of ownership, savings, business value, and compliance.

What you will be doing:

• Assisting in developing and completing sourcing strategies and RFx processes to meet project timelines and objectives.
• Supporting cost optimization initiatives, including cost savings and avoidance, for high-value sourcing events exceeding $1M.
• Contributing to contract drafting, review, and negotiation strategy development for supplier agreements.
• Ensuring compliance with procurement policies, buy-channel processes, and category playbook guidelines.
• Conducting market research to identify potential suppliers and support supplier qualification and onboarding activities.
• Managing procurement documentation, reporting, and analysis to validate sourcing success and track savings.
• Providing operational support for indirect spend categories, including eRFx, auctions, price quotes, and dispute resolution.

We want you to have:

• Bachelor’s degree along with 3+ years of experience in procurement, ideally in strategic sourcing.
• Foundational knowledge of sourcing processes and willingness to develop expertise.
• Ability to support complex sourcing activities and strategic projects.
• Familiarity with contract lifecycle considerations and total cost of ownership principles.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail for data-driven decision-making.
• Team oriented approach to working with business partners, business units, and suppliers.
• Capacity to assist in negotiations and contribute to value creation through competitive sourcing.

The starting salary is based on but not limited to experience, knowledge, and qualifications in determining compensation decisions. The Salary Range for this position is: $88,800.00 - $128,850.00.
