What you will be doing:

  • Meeting all business and safety requirements 
  • Supporting and covering production roles when needed 
  • Operating facility equipment 
  • Performing maintenance related Contamination Control & Sanitation (CC&S) and planned inspection requirements 
  • Providing maintenance and repair services for facility, utility, and manufacturing equipment. This includes electrical repair and troubleshooting for equipment <600V 
  • Working with hand and power tools 
  • Performing rigging and operate moving and lifting equipment 
  • Rebuilding various machinery subassemblies and components such as pumps, motors, pneumatic, & hydraulic systems 
  • Performing routine preventive maintenance 
  • Reading and understanding machine documentation – schematics, parts books, prints, & manuals 
  • Conducting spare parts inventory, sign out and stocking procedures 
  • Participating in cross-functional teams to identify opportunities and implement solutions 

 

For this position, we are seeking highly motivated, creative, experienced, and accountable individuals. 

What we want you to have:

  • Be at least 18 years of age, legally eligible to work in the U.S. and for John Middleton Company 
  • Be willing to work on B or C shifts and to work mandatory overtime, weekends, and holidays 
  • Basic computer skills including Microsoft office 
  • Basic mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting knowledge 
  • Basic machine shop skills (mill, lathe, drill press, welding, etc.) and parts fabrication 
  • Experience with shop tools & hand tools 
  • Qualified to run one or more King of Prussia Primary Processing production areas 
  • Have a high school diploma or general education degree (GED) 
  • Regular, reliable, and predictable attendance 
  • Passion and willingness to learn and grow 
  • General mechanic / maintenance experience with relating training certificate or technical degree 
  • Machine shop / welding / metal fabrication experience / training 
  • Electronic / Electrical troubleshooting and repair experience / training 
  • Rigging / Moving lifting equipment operator experience
