We are currently seeking a Senior Manager, Legal Systems & Strategy to join our Law Department in Richmond, VA, or we are open to remote work arrangements.
This role within the Strategy Center of Excellence (CoE) focuses on enhancing process efficiency and service delivery for the Law Department. Key responsibilities include managing the legal intake system and supporting the Law Department in adopting legal tech tools effectively. This position is vital to the CoE's mission of driving continuous improvement and operational excellence.
What you’ll be doing:
- Legal Intake System Management: Allocate work across the CoE and Law Department, with plans to expand system usage across the Enterprise.
- Knowledge Management Oversight: Ensure compliance, maintain updated guidance, and explore AI configuration opportunities.
- Legal Tech Implementation: Act as product owner for legal tech solutions, managing user accounts, permissions, and ensuring secure adoption.
- Support Legal Operations: Assist with legal research, external communication reviews, and rollout of new legal tech solutions.
- Compliance Assurance: Ensure all processes, training, and tools comply with applicable laws and regulations.
- Training and Development: Develop and deliver training programs on legal issues and technology tools, including user guides and tutorials.
We want you to have:
- Bachelor’s degree with a focus on law or legal studies preferred
- 10 years of relevant experience with 3 years’ experience in Legal Operations, Systems Implementation, or Process Improvement.
- Proficiency in legal research tools such as LexisNexis, Westlaw, or similar platforms preferred.
- Experience with streamlining and improving processes.
- Ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Strong ability to balance multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues efficiently.
The starting salary is based on but not limited to experience, knowledge, and qualifications in determining compensation decisions. The Salary Range for this position is: $128,700.00 - $196,200.00.
