We are seeking a Senior Manager, Manufacturing Training & Communications, to lead strategic communication and workforce development initiatives that advance our operational objectives and long‑term vision.
In this role, you will design and deliver experiences that inform, engage, and develop both salaried and hourly employees—partnering closely with Manufacturing leadership to drive alignment, elevate capability, and foster a culture of continuous improvement across our Richmond campus.
What you will be doing:
- Develop strategic operational plans and lead overall communication and workforce development plans in collaboration with PM USA Manufacturing leadership, and internal and external stakeholders to address evolving business needs and strategic initiatives.
- Manage delivery of PM USA Manufacturing communications and training content for both PM USA salaried and hourly employees, ensuring alignment with annual strategies and organizational initiatives.
- Provide key leadership with focus on IWS (Integrated Work System) support.
- Provide managerial oversight, coaching and development to (2) training and communications direct reports and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external communications and training professionals to build organization capability.
- Oversee development and maintenance of communication channels and tools (face-to-face, print, electronic/web, closed circuit television) to support PM USA Manufacturing-wide engagement and learning.
- Coordinate and manage strategic business update meetings and engagement forums.
- Provide oversight of on-site EDC (Employee Development Center) and certified professional teaching staff to provide continuing education opportunities for PM USA Manufacturing employees.
- Monitor and manage budget and resources to support communication and training initiatives effectively.
What we want you to have:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree or equivalent experience preferred.
- Experience with leadership and management of function-wide communications and workforce development or equivalent relevant work experience.
- Program/Project/Department management or other large-scale complex initiatives with an emphasis on communications and/or workforce development or training.
- Understanding of adult learning concepts and employment of blended learning
- Prior personnel management experience preferred.
- Ability to handle multiple priorities and requests and work under time constraints.
- Requires 24/7 availability to deliver time-sensitive/urgent employee communications.
- Must be able to withstand the physical demands associated with a role in manufacturing such as standing, walking and wearing appropriate PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) safety equipment.

The starting salary is based on but not limited to experience, knowledge, and qualifications in determining compensation decisions. The Salary Range for this position is: $132,500.00 - $196,200.00.
