What you will be doing:
As a Network Engineer, you'll play a key role in designing, implementing, supporting, and optimizing enterprise and operational technology network infrastructure. You'll help ensure secure, reliable connectivity across office, manufacturing, laboratory, and remote environments while supporting initiatives that enhance performance, stability, and cybersecurity.
- Designing, implementing, and supporting enterprise networking solutions including LAN, WAN, wireless, SD-WAN, VPN, and internet connectivity.
- Supporting manufacturing and operational technology (OT) network environments, including industrial switching, wireless infrastructure, firewalls, and segmentation.
- Administering and maintaining Cisco networking technologies, Cisco ISE, wireless platforms, and Palo Alto firewalls.
- Implementing and maintaining secure IT/OT segmentation strategies through VLANs, VRFs, ACLs, industrial DMZs, and firewall policies.
- Monitoring network performance, troubleshooting issues, and implementing improvements to enhance reliability and efficiency.
- Supporting industrial wireless technologies and connected devices such as scanners, printers, tablets, AGVs, and IIoT equipment.
- Participating in network architecture planning, technology upgrades, lifecycle management, and disaster recovery initiatives.
- Creating and maintaining technical documentation, standards, and best practices while sharing knowledge with teammates.
- Participating in major incident response and occasional after-hours maintenance activities when needed.
We want you to have:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related experience.
- 6+ years of experience supporting enterprise networking environments.
- Knowledge of network infrastructure, routing, switching, wireless technologies, and network security principles.
- Experience working with Cisco networking technologies and enterprise firewall solutions.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
Preferred:
- Experience supporting manufacturing, industrial, or operational technology environments.
- Knowledge of industrial networking concepts, Purdue Model architecture, and IEC 62443 principles.
- Experience with network monitoring and automation tools.
- Professional certifications such as CCNP Enterprise, CCNP Security, PCNSE, or equivalent.
The starting salary is based on but not limited to experience, knowledge, and qualifications in determining compensation decisions. The Salary Range for this position is: $104,900.00 - $152,150.00.
