At Altria, we’re looking for an analytical, collaborative, and continuous improvement-minded professional to join Philip Morris USA as an Associate Manager, Production Support. In this role, you’ll help shape workforce planning strategies, strengthen manufacturing support processes, and turn data into actionable insights that support our business, our people, and our ongoing journey toward innovation and change. You’ll partner with PMUSA leadership to drive initiatives to optimize our IWS (Integrated Work System) infrastructure. 

What you will be doing:

  • Build, implement, and continuously improve workforce planning tools, metrics, and strategies to optimize workforce capacity, aligning talent decisions with business needs and strategic objectives.
  • Lead creating and maintaining Manufacturing budgets (fixed/variable).
  • Monitor functional spending to include investigating deviations.
  • Measure, analyze and maintain workforce metrics to develop insights and recommendations on trends, risks, opportunities for improvement, and progress on existing workforce plans. Maintain attrition model.
  • Gather and analyze ad hoc data to identify trends, communicate results, and generate actionable plans.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define data needs and improve reporting accuracy.
  • Engage with Line Structure Teams to provide insights on top losses tied to operational efficiency, productivity, and outcomes.

What we want you to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Data Analytics, Statistics, or related field (e.g., Business Information Technology).
  • 5+ years of relevant experience.
  • Strong analytical and scenario modeling skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • The ability to construct and manage complex models, delivering insightful analytics for strategic planning. Advanced proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, data visualization software (e.g., Tableau, Power BI), and SAP experience are strongly preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with partners and present information concisely to various audiences at all organizational levels.
  • Ability to lead projects and initiatives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, balancing hands-on details with big-picture thinking.
  • Flexibility and innovation, with a strong capability to drive continuous improvement in workforce planning practices.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results under tight deadlines.
  • Self-starter who works well both independently and with cross functional teams.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced office environment and in manufacturing facilities (PPE required).

 

The starting salary is based on but not limited to experience, knowledge, and qualifications in determining compensation decisions. The Salary Range for this position is: $104,900.00 - $152,150.00.
