As a Senior Leaf Logistician – Leaf Warehousing, you will play a critical role in leading the planning, coordination, execution, and control of tobacco components to ensure timely shipments, accurate inventory, regulatory compliance, and efficient warehouse and transportation operations. In this highly collaborative role, you will serve as the primary connection point between warehouse operations, transportation providers, export partners, customs stakeholders, and internal supply chain teams—helping keep product moving smoothly from allocation through shipment confirmation.

 

What you will be doing:

  • Coordinate end-to-end activities from inventory allocation through container departure and shipment confirmation.
  • Develop and maintain shipment schedules that align with production output, customer requirements, vessel schedules, and warehouse capacity.
  • Monitor inventory levels and product availability to ensure customer commitments are met while maintaining appropriate inventory controls.
  • Analyze export demand, shipment volumes, transportation capacity, and warehouse constraints to optimize logistics execution.
  • Coordinate movement of tobacco components from storage locations to export staging areas and loading docks.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between warehouse operations, transportation providers, freight forwarders, and export service providers.
  • Verify orders, batch selections, Bills of Lading, shipping instructions, and supporting documentation prior to shipment release.
  • Ensure proper batch control and inventory reconciliation throughout tobacco component loading process.
  • Monitor container-loading activities and collaborate with warehouse personnel and supervisors to verify accurate product loading.
  • Track inbound and outbound shipment activity and maintain visibility of loads received, staged, loaded, and exported.
  • Utilize SAP, warehouse management systems, inventory-management tools, and Microsoft Office applications to plan, execute, monitor, and report export operations.

 

What we want you to have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Operations Management, or related field.
  • Experience in logistics, warehouse operations, supply chain planning, and transportation management.
  • Experience working in a manufacturing, tobacco-processing, or export distribution environment.
  • Knowledge of export documentation, international shipping processes, container operations, and customs compliance requirements.
  • Proficiency with SAP, inventory-management systems, Microsoft Excel, Power BI, PowerPoint, and reporting tools.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced warehouse and logistics environment.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively across operations, transportation providers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.

 

 

The starting salary is based on but not limited to experience, knowledge, and qualifications in determining compensation decisions. The Salary Range for this position is: $91,500.00 - $132,750.00.
