We're seeking a Senior Manager, Manufacturing Technology to lead a high-performing team! This team delivers technology solutions and sustains business-critical applications powering our manufacturing operations. This role is located in Richmond, VA.
In this role, you'll drive strategic technology initiatives, ensure operational excellence, and develop strong partnerships across the business to deliver reliable, scalable, and impactful outcomes.
What you will be doing:
- Leading, developing, and mentoring a team responsible for technology solution deployment, application maintenance, incident management, and continuous service improvement across manufacturing environments.
- Partnering closely with manufacturing leaders, business partners, product owners, and technology teams to align priorities and deliver technology capabilities that support business objectives.
- Leading all aspects of execution of projects, enhancements, and operational initiatives, ensuring effective management of scope, timelines, risks, dependencies, and resource requirements.
- Driving operational excellence by improving service reliability, support responsiveness, issue resolution processes, and overall user experience.
- Serving as the partner concern point for critical incidents, production-impacting issues, delivery challenges, and vendor-related concerns, ensuring timely resolution and customer communication.
- Establishing and maintaining governance, documentation, operational coordination, release management, and quality standards across technology implementation and support functions.
- Leading team capacity and resource allocation across project work, operational support, maintenance activities, and emerging business priorities.
- Collaborating with infrastructure, cybersecurity, architecture, data, and enterprise application teams to ensure solutions are secure, scalable, supportable, and aligned with enterprise standards.
- Overseeing vendor and strategic partner relationships, holding providers accountable for service commitments, performance expectations, and continuous improvement objectives.
- Identifying and implementing opportunities to streamline processes, automate manual activities, reduce operational risk, and enhance the effectiveness of technology services.
We want you to have:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 10+ years versatile experience in technology delivery, application support, technology operations, program management, or related IT leadership roles.
- 10+ years of people leadership experience, including team development, performance management, workforce planning, and prioritization of resources.
- Validated experience leading technology delivery alongside management of operational functions within a sophisticated enterprise environment.
- Solid grasp of IT service management practices, including incident, problem, change, release, and operational support management.
- Experience leading project delivery, application enhancements, production support activities, and multi-functional technology initiatives.
- Exceptional communication and collaborator leadership skills, with the ability to influence technical teams, business partners, vendors, and senior leadership.
- Proven ability to analyze complex issues, make sound decisions, handle challenging priorities, and drive accountability across teams.
- Experience supporting manufacturing and supply chain technologies such as Blue Yonder, TrakSYS, MES, SAP, or similar enterprise platforms preferred.
- PMP, ITIL, Agile, Scrum, or other relevant certifications preferred.

The starting salary is based on but not limited to experience, knowledge, and qualifications in determining compensation decisions. The Salary Range for this position is: $132,500.00 - $202,100.00.
